    ComFlor 60 composite floor profile offers the ultimate in lightweight steel decking for all multi-rise buildings. It combines exceptional spanning capabilities with reduced concrete usage to provide a cost-effective and attractive floor solution that is easy to install. The state-of-the-art profile has been developed using modern roll-forming techniques. Capable of unpropped continuous spans to 4.5 metres and propped spans to 6.8 metres.

     

    ComFlor 60 has been much copied but never bettered, as the original new generation round shouldered trapezoidal combined 60mm profile. This design is exceptionally resistant to compressive buckling resulting in superior span capability compared to traditional decks.

The steel decking provides tensile reinforcement, combining with the compressive strength of the concrete for an all round stronger slab. Steel decking profiles are designed to prevent any longitudinal slip between the steel and concrete in the slab itself, and any transverse movement between the slab and supporting beams.

    Greater Savings
    The weight savings achieved in composite slabs can be passed on to other areas of the design, such as foundations. And because steel decking acts as permanent formwork, it can significantly reduce the need for propping or temporary formwork -saving both time and money.
